Scott’s Hotrods ‘n Customs doesn’t ONLY build & drive C10 trucks, we love lots of different classic vehicles! When Jason Graham Hotrods posted up his 1947 Ford Super Deluxe Coupe Convertible For Sale, it caught Justin’s eye. Jason Graham had been building the convertible for a few years. Graham had made many subtle changes to the body, painted it a nice burgundy color and had Boris at Street Machinery work his patina magic on it. The Convertible still had leaf springs out back and a Mustang II kit up front that was lowered way too much for comfortable driving.
We drove the Convertible around to a few shows and soon opted to throw one of our Super Slam Chassis under it. We also happened to have a 570HP Smeding Performance SBC 427 with a built 4L65E transmission just lying around the shop.
The body and chassis were mated with a few floor modifications. We sprayed Raptor undercoating once the sheet metal work was done. To keep it quieter and cooler, we added some DEI BOOM MAT & Heat Shielding underneath and on top of the floor.
The Hot Rods By Boyd Spirit Of Boyd S.O.B. wheels help keep the classic look of this eye-catching Ford.
