A qualified professional mechanic or fabricator with the technical understanding of product function and installation procedures must install all Scott’s Hotrods products.

We stand behind ALL of the parts we manufacture.  Other parts that we do not manufacture such as brakes, steering racks, ball joints, brake flex lines, power steering lines, etc carry their own manufacturer’s warranties.  We are not responsible for these items outside of their original warranty.

All of Scott’s Hotrods manufactured parts are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials & workmanship for the lifetime of the part. Scott’s Hotrods Warranty is non-transferable.

  • Can I run a big block?
    • YES! Whatever motor you want to run in your OBS
  • Does it work with LS engines?
    • YES! LS Swap the World!
  • Coilovers or airbags?
    • We can set up your OBS with whatever ride height you want on Coilovers or lay it out on Airbags
  • Can I use stock sheet metal?
    • YES! Our OBS Chassis can be installed without any vehicle modifications, but it depends on how low you want to go.
  • What rear end comes standard?
    • Moser Ford 9″ with 31-spline axles
  • What wheel sizes fit?
    • Whatever wheels you want to run, you tell us.  Typically, 20×8.5″ Front and 20×10″ Rear
  • How long is build time?
    • It only takes about 7 days to build a complete chassis, but the Chassis Order List varies.
  • Does it require welding?
    • NOPE
  • Can it lay frame?
    • Scott’s Hotrods SuperSlam OBS Chassis will lay frame 100%.  Inner Fedners, Trans & Driveshaft Tunnel, Bed and Rear Tubs require modification.
