When an off-the-shelf chassis won’t fit your project, Scott’s Hotrods builds one from the ground up. Every custom chassis is engineered specifically for your vehicle, drivetrain, suspension, wheel and tire combination, and desired ride height. Whether you’re restoring a rare classic, building an all-out Pro Touring car, creating a slammed truck, or tackling a one-of-one custom, we design and manufacture a complete chassis that fits your project—not the other way around.
Unlike universal chassis, every Scott’s Hotrods Custom Chassis features our proprietary Independent Front Suspension, equal-length parallel 4-Bar rear suspension, 100% TIG-welded construction, premium American-sourced materials, and the engineering experience gained from thousands of chassis built since 1996. The result is modern handling, exceptional ride quality, and the strength to support everything from a weekend cruiser to a 2,000+ horsepower showpiece.
Scott’s Hotrods Custom Chassis are available for virtually any year, make, or model vehicle. Every chassis is engineered and built-to-order around your specific project, taking into account your vehicle, drivetrain, ride height, suspension preferences, wheel and tire package, and overall performance goals. Whether you’re restoring a rare classic, building a one-of-a-kind hot rod, or creating an all-out Pro Touring machine, our engineering team can design a chassis to fit your vision. For highly customized or unique applications requiring additional engineering and fabrication, pricing is quoted on a per-project basis.

A qualified professional mechanic or fabricator with the technical understanding of product function and installation procedures must install all Scott’s Hotrods products.
We stand behind ALL of the parts we manufacture. Other parts that we do not manufacture such as brakes, steering racks, ball joints, brake flex lines, power steering lines, etc carry their own manufacturer’s warranties. We are not responsible for these items outside of their original warranty.
All of Scott’s Hotrods manufactured parts are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials & workmanship for the lifetime of the part. Scott’s Hotrods Warranty is non-transferable.

Some vehicles simply don’t have an aftermarket chassis available—and others deserve something better than a “close enough” solution. A Scott’s Hotrods Custom Chassis is ideal for rare classics, heavily modified vehicles, coach-built cars, custom trucks, and one-off builds that require precise engineering. Every chassis is designed around your exact body, engine, transmission, rear axle, wheel size, tire package, and ride height, eliminating the compromises found in universal or adapted chassis.
Engineered From Your Vehicle—Not Guesswork
Every great custom chassis starts with accurate measurements. That’s why Scott’s Hotrods utilizes a state-of-the-art Creaform HandySCAN 3D laser scanner to digitally capture your original chassis and vehicle with exceptional accuracy. Rather than relying on decades-old factory blueprints, worn-out dimensions, or manual measurements, our engineering team creates a precise 3D model of your vehicle to ensure every critical mounting point, body mount, suspension location, and drivetrain component is engineered for the best possible fit.
This advanced 3D scanning technology is especially valuable for rare vehicles, one-of-one customs, heavily modified classics, and applications where factory specifications simply don’t exist or can’t be trusted. By combining high-resolution 3D scanning with CAD engineering and decades of chassis design experience, Scott’s Hotrods is able to design and manufacture a built-to-order custom chassis that fits your vehicle with unmatched precision while delivering modern handling, exceptional ride quality, and industry-leading craftsmanship.
