Modern 2007-2014 Chevy 3500 1-Ton Spindles, Hubs & Brakes
Scott’s Hotrods Heavy-Duty 1-Ton Independent Front Suspension (IFS) now utilizes proven 2007-2014 Chevy Silverado 3500HD 1-Ton front suspension components for serious strength, braking performance and serviceability. At the heart of the system is the heavy-duty 2007-2014 Chevy 3500 1-Ton spindle, paired with the matching sealed hub assembly, heavy-duty brake rotor and caliper. This gives your custom build the strength and durability of modern GM 1-Ton components combined with Scott’s Hotrods’ purpose-built Independent Front Suspension geometry.
The 2007-2014 Chevy 3500 1-Ton spindle, hub and brake package is available in both Flat-Face and Dually configurations, allowing us to build the IFS around standard single-wheel applications or projects requiring a dually-style front wheel setup. Combined with Scott’s heavy-duty Tubular Upper & Lower A-Arms, rack & pinion steering and 100% TIG-welded one-piece crossmember, the result is a true heavy-duty IFS engineered for large trucks, vans, COEs and custom applications where ordinary passenger-car suspension components simply aren’t enough.

Scott’s Hotrods Heavy-Duty 1-Ton Independent Front Suspension (IFS) is built for projects where ordinary passenger-car suspension components simply aren’t enough. By combining Scott’s proven vehicle-specific IFS engineering with heavy-duty 2007-2014 Chevy Silverado 3500HD 1-Ton spindles, sealed hub assemblies, rotors and calipers, we can provide a true 1-Ton IFS for large classic trucks, COEs, vans and one-of-a-kind custom applications. Available in Flat-Face or Dually configurations with Coilovers or SuperSlam Airbag suspension, every system is engineered around the vehicle, drivetrain, track width, ride height and intended use.
That same philosophy goes into every Scott’s Hotrods Independent Front Suspension we manufacture. Our IFS systems have never been—and will never be—Mustang II kits. Scott’s builds true, vehicle-specific Independent Front Suspension for American-made cars and trucks from 1925-1987, including our Standard Front Steer, Rear Steer, Spring Pocket Replacement, Cab-Over Van & Truck, SuperSlam and Heavy-Duty 1-Ton IFS systems. While two kits may look similar, critical dimensions and suspension geometry are engineered specifically for each vehicle application. No universal crossmembers. No one-size-fits-all suspension geometry.
Every Scott’s Hotrods IFS is manufactured from raw materials at our facility in Knoxville, Tennessee. Our in-house CNC mills and lathes manufacture many of the critical components used throughout our suspension systems, including cross tubes, ball-joint cups, rack and shock bungs, stainless steel adjustable Upper A-Arm rod ends and A-Arm tubes, while our in-house HD plasma table produces the precision-cut tabs used throughout each assembly. Every crossmember is 100% TIG welded, carefully inspected and quality checked before being packaged and shipped to the customer.
At Scott’s Hotrods, Quality, Creativity, Engineering & Workmanship aren’t marketing buzzwords—they define how our suspension systems are built. Whether you need a lightweight performance IFS for a hot rod, a frame-laying SuperSlam suspension, a specialized Cab-Over system or the strength of our Chevy 3500HD-based Heavy-Duty 1-Ton IFS, the suspension underneath your vehicle determines how confidently it drives, handles, stops and performs. Great paint, a beautiful interior and big horsepower may get attention, but a properly engineered suspension is what makes a custom vehicle truly enjoyable to drive.
Scott’s Hotrods stands behind the components we manufacture. Third-party components—including brakes, steering racks, ball joints, brake flex lines, power-steering lines, bearings and seals—are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranties and are subject to those manufacturers’ warranty terms and limitations.
