Why is Scott’s Hotrods F100 Long Bed Chassis Different?

Unlike universal chassis that require compromises, every Scott’s Hotrods F100 Long Bed chassis is designed around the factory body dimensions, wheelbase, and suspension geometry of the 1967-1972 Ford F100 Long Bed. The result is a cleaner installation, proper body fitment, and superior handling.

The Ultimate 1967-1972 Ford F100 Long Bed Chassis

If you’re restoring or building a 1967-1972 Ford F100 Long Bed (Bumpside), your chassis should perform as well as your truck looks. Scott’s Hotrods builds each chassis specifically for your truck and your project—not from a universal design.

Every chassis is manufactured in Knoxville, Tennessee using mandrel-bent frame rails, TIG-welded construction, and premium American-made materials. Whether you’re building a dependable weekend cruiser, a Pro Touring street truck, or an air ride show truck that lays rocker, our chassis delivers modern handling, improved ride quality, and unmatched strength.

Unlike modified factory frames or generic aftermarket chassis, Scott’s chassis are engineered from the ground up around the 1967-1972 Ford F100 Long Bed. Every suspension pickup point, body mount, crossmember, and drivetrain location has been designed specifically for the Bumpside platform.

Choose from coilovers or our legendary SuperSlam Air Ride suspension, multiple brake packages, engine mount options, and drivetrain configurations to build the exact chassis your truck deserves.

From small block Ford powerplants to Coyote, Godzilla, LS, LT, Hemi, and big block combinations, Scott’s Hotrods builds a chassis that’s ready for your dream truck.
