Each Thunderbird chassis features Scott’s proprietary Independent Front Suspension (IFS) with heavy-duty Tubular Upper & Lower A-Arms, power rack & pinion steering, an equal-length Parallel 4-Bar rear suspension and a Moser Ford 9-inch rear end. Unlike a Coilover chassis simply converted to airbags, the SuperSlam chassis is designed around air suspension from the beginning, utilizing Slam Specialties airbags with RideTech shocks to deliver massive suspension travel, adjustable ride height and the ultra-low stance these long, low Thunderbirds were made for.

Whether you’re building a bagged Squarebird, Coyote-powered Thunderbird restomod, custom cruiser or show-stopping 1958, 1959 or 1960 T-Bird, the SuperSlam combines Scott’s proprietary Independent Front Suspension, power rack & pinion steering, equal-length Parallel 4-Bar rear suspension and Moser Ford 9-inch with a properly engineered air suspension system. All of Scott’s Hotrods manufactured parts are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials & workmanship for the lifetime of the part. Scott’s Hotrods warranty is non-transferable.
