Why is Scott’s Hotrods Different?

Scott’s C10 Bolt-On Independent Front Suspension kits are vehicle specific.  We only make Bolt-On IFS kits for select vehicles, none of which are Mustang II based.

Our Independent Front Suspension is NOT a Mustang II Kit.  It never was based off a Mustang II Suspension.  Scott’s Hotrods ‘n Customs IFS Kits are True Independent  Front Suspension Kits featuring Tubular Upper & Lower A-Arms designed specifically for each and every vehicle.  We do not use a 3-piece style crossmember with spring pocket hats. We do not use T-Bolt slider adjusters that CAN come loose.  We only use Coilovers or Airbags with external shock.  Our Suspension can be dialed in precisely and can never be knocked out of alignment.  We 100% TIG Weld our kits.  We only use 5/8″ or Larger Grade 8 Hardware.

Check out our IFS QC Gallery to view a wide variety of IFS Kits we recently shipped out.

Scott’s Hotrods ’63-’87 GMC/Chevy C-10 Bolt-On IFS

Scott’s C10 Bolt-On IFS kits are one of our most popular we have to offer.  Old trucks handle like broken wagons and Scott’s IFS is the best solution to get your truck handling it’s best.

Like all Scott’s standard IFS systems, each unit is built to spec, individually for each customer.  This allows us to “fine-tune” the suspension.  For those looking to have a tight handling coilover suspension, we can set it up to be fully tunable and adjustable to get that track handling on the weekends, and a comfortable ride for everyday use.  If laying low is your style, we can set you up to run up to a 31” tall tire and still lay frame, while maintaining superior drivability over our competitors.  A Scott’s ‘63-‘87 bolt-on SuperSlam IFS gets over 9” of total travel! There is no other 100% bolt-on suspension or dropped crossmember for these trucks.  Scott’s is the only true bolt-on that will get you installed and driving in a weekend.  Bolt-On Kits are also available for ’48-’54 & ’55-’59 Chevy Trucks.

Starting at $3,925

Scott’s Hotrods ’63-’87 Chevy/GMC Truck (for use with CPP Spindle):

This variation of Scott’s C10 Bolt-On IFS Kit is designed to be used with the ’73-’87 CPP C10 Spindle.  The only reason to choose this kit over Scott’s regular IFS kit is if you already have the CPP Big Brake Kit installed on your truck and you don’t want to get rid of this expensive Spindle & Brake kit.  We incorporate the ’73-’87 Square Body ball joints to accept the CPP spindle and include special tie rod ends to work correctly with the steering arm.  This special kit does not include Spindles or Brakes.
