Why Choose Scott’s Camaro,
Firebird & Nova IFS Front Clip?
Transform the handling, steering and stance of your classic Camaro, Firebird or Nova with a Scott’s Hotrods 100% Bolt-On IFS Front Clip. Designed for 1st Gen Camaro and Firebird applications as well as 1968-1972 Chevy Nova, the Scott’s front clip replaces the factory front subframe and outdated suspension with a completely modern Independent Front Suspension system—without cutting, grinding or welding the clip to your car.
Unlike a universal front suspension adapted to fit multiple vehicles, every Scott’s IFS Front Clip is manufactured around the specific application and your build requirements. The system combines a heavy-duty one-piece crossmember and bolt-on subframe with massive DOM Tubular Upper & Lower A-Arms, rack & pinion steering, forged steel spindles, built-in anti-dive, adjustable upper A-Arms and a standard sway bar. Choose Coilovers for performance-oriented handling or step up to the SuperSlam Airbag Front Clip for adjustable ride height and an aggressive, pavement-hugging stance.

100% Bolt-On — No Cutting or Welding Required
One of the biggest advantages of the Scott’s Camaro, Firebird & Nova IFS Front Clip is the installation. The complete front clip is engineered to bolt to the vehicle without cutting, grinding or welding the new clip into place. That gives builders a clean way to replace the factory front suspension and subframe with modern suspension technology while avoiding the extensive fabrication required by many custom front suspension conversions.
But bolt-on doesn’t mean generic. Scott’s builds the front clip using the same heavy-duty construction and suspension philosophy found throughout our custom IFS line. The result is a purpose-built front suspension system designed to dramatically modernize steering response, suspension geometry, handling, braking capability and overall drivability while retaining a straightforward bolt-on installation.
