Goodguys C10 Giveway Truck
After a year of anticipation, the grand unveiling of the Goodguys G-10 Grand Prize Giveaway Truck is set for Saturday night, July 12th at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio – site of the Goodguys 17th PPG Nationals. The Eric Black-designed, Scott’s Hot Rods-built ’70 Chevy pickup will be a promotional/giveaway vehicle, touring the country for 12 months before being given away back in Columbus in the summer of 2015.
The truck has spent the last 12 months in Oxnard, California under the watchful eye of Justin Padfield and his team at Scott’s Hot Rods. Working off Black’s design, the team at Scott’s performed all of the extensive body mods, chassis fabrication and project execution. Palmer’s Customs painted the truck which also features a basketball orange leather interior by Ron Mangus.
The low-flying pickup has all the power it will ever need thanks to a burly LS3 by Lingenfelter Performance.
The truck’s grand unveiling will come Saturday evening in Columbus inside the 5,000-seat Celeste Center during the Goodguys 17th PPG Nationals special awards ceremony. A dramatic entrance is planned!
The truck will be available for viewing in front of the main stage following the ceremony.
