Scott’s Hotrods ‘n Customs officially opened its doors back in 1996 with one employee, Justin Scott Padfield. Since then, Justin has methodically grown his business from a small 2,500-sq/ft shop in Ventura, California to its current 20,000-sq/ft facility in beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee.
Scott’s Hotrods employs some of the best quality sheet metal fabricators in the industry. They can transform a flat sheet of steel into many pieces of art that eventually create a completely scratch-built custom vehicle. Scott’s Hotrods is the only shop to ever win America’s Most Beautiful Roadster Award (AMBR) Back-to-Back in 2008 & 2010 at the Grand National Roadster Show. “Undisputed” stunned the crowds in 2008 and “Possessed” blew everyone away in 2010. The combination of hand-crafted bodies and custom one-off machined parts on these roadsters transcends into every custom vehicle the team at Scott’s Hotrods builds.
The new facility in Knoxville, Tennessee is already filling up inside with many new & old tools & machines making Scott’s Hotrods one of the most well-equipped shops in the custom car building and suspension manufacturing world. Some of the tools in the shop include: English Wheel, Planishing Hammer, Kraftformer, Brake, Shear, Iron Worker, Press Brake, PullMax, Yoder Hammer, Slip Roll, Radius Bender, Mandrel Bender, Bead Roller, Magnetic Brake, HD Plasma table, 3 CNC Mills, 2 CNC Lathes and more!
