Our customer brought us this 1966 NOVA II SS as a running driving vehicle. It had modified/upgraded STOCK style suspension and handled like a 1966 Chevy II. He wanted us to make it ride smooth, handle great and stop like a sports car. We proceeded with our Bolt-On IFS Clip complete with 14″ Wilwood Drilled & Slotted Rotors, 6-piston calipers, Torsion Spline Sway Bar, RideTech Coilovers and a Power Rack & Pinion. Out back we went with a new complete Moser 9″, our 4-Bar Rear Suspension with RideTech Coilovers and a Torsion Spline Sway Bar. This SS also received a new Bowtie Overdrive 700R4 Transmission, Lokar Shifter, Aluminum Fuel Tank, in-tank pump and sending unit.
This beast rides comfortably, does not kick or bounce around on uneven roads and handles like a slot car!
