The long-awaited unveiling of the Goodguys G-10 1970 Chevrolet Pickup, the 2014/2015 Grand Prize Giveaway truck built by Scott’s Hotrods in Oxnard, California went down in dramatic fashion Saturday night, July 12th at the Goodguys 17th PPG Nationals. The truck will be toured as part of a year-long giveaway promotion for Goodguys event attendees, members, and online entrants. It will be given away at the Goodguys 18th PPG Nationals July 10-12, 2015 in Columbus next summer!An 11-month build, the Eric Black designed G-10 features a Scott’s Hotrods Custom Chassis and Suspension, Ron Mangus Interior, LMC Trucks sheet metal, PPG Midnight Blue paint and prep by Palmer’s Customs, a Lingenfelter LS3 with FAST injection, TCI Transmission, Billet Specialties Bonneville wheels, Ridetech Coilovers, Diamond Back Classic Tires, Wilwood Brakes, Advanced Painting bright work and so much more from valued industry partners.The car features over 100 body mods performed by the Scott’s Hotrods Team including Justin Padfield, Severy Blake, Brycen and Dennis Smith, Cody Smith, Tyler Padfield, Jeff Savagio, Kyle Fedel, Jerry Contreas, Andy Canchola and Terry Spangler.
