1933-1934 Ford Chassis Overview
Scott’s Hotrods manufactures one of the most complete 1933-1934 Ford hot rod chassis available, combining modern suspension geometry and steering with the strength required for today’s horsepower. Every chassis is built-to-order specifically for your vehicle rather than produced as a one-size-fits-all frame, allowing your drivetrain, suspension configuration, wheels, tires and desired ride height to become part of the chassis design from the beginning.
At the front, Scott’s Rear Steer Independent Front Suspension utilizes a heavy-duty one-piece 2″x4″x3/16″-wall IFS crossmember, built-in anti-dive and massive 1-1/8″x1/4″-wall DOM Tubular Upper & Lower A-Arms. Out back, Scott’s proven Parallel 4-Bar rear suspension controls a Moser Ford 9-inch rear end using heavy-duty adjustable DOM link bars. The chassis features fabricated boxed frame rails, a dual-layer round-tube center crossmember, Grade 8 hardware and 100% TIG-welded construction.
Whether you’re building a 1933 Ford Coupe, 1933 Ford Roadster, 1934 Ford Coupe, 1934 Ford Roadster or custom ’33-’34 Ford, Scott’s gives you a modern performance foundation that can be configured for everything from a comfortable highway cruiser to an aggressive hot rod or frame-laying custom.

Why Rear Steer IFS on a 1933-1934 Ford?
cott’s Hotrods Rear Steer IFS places the steering rack & pinion behind the front suspension crossmember, making it particularly well suited to the packaging requirements of early Ford hot rods. Rather than adapting a universal front suspension to the chassis, Scott’s engineers the IFS specifically around the ’33-’34 Ford application, providing modern rack & pinion steering, properly designed suspension geometry and a clean installation underneath the car.
And just as importantly: this is NOT a Mustang II suspension. Scott’s IFS was engineered as a true Independent Front Suspension using heavy-duty Tubular Upper & Lower A-Arms, a one-piece crossmember, built-in anti-dive, oversized serviceable ball joints and fully adjustable upper A-Arms. The result is a modern front suspension engineered specifically for the vehicle rather than an old Mustang II-style design adapted to fit another application.
Want Your 1933-1934 Ford to Lay Frame?
Scott’s Hotrods SuperSlam 1933-1934 Ford Chassis is engineered from the beginning for builders who want an ultra-low, frame-laying stance without sacrificing suspension geometry or drivability. Rather than simply replacing Coilovers with airbags, the SuperSlam configuration is designed around the suspension travel and packaging necessary to achieve the extreme stance these hot rods demand.
Air it out and put your ’33-’34 Ford down on the pavement. Raise it to driving height and hit the highway. Combined with Scott’s Rear Steer IFS, Parallel 4-Bar rear suspension, rack & pinion steering and Moser Ford 9-inch, the SuperSlam gives you the dramatic stance of a radical show car with a chassis engineered to actually be driven.
Whether it’s a chopped ’33 Ford Coupe, 1934 Ford Roadster, custom Cabriolet or one-off street rod, Scott’s SuperSlam gives you the freedom to build it low without building it wrong.
Lay it out. Raise it up. Drive it. That’s SuperSlam.
